Bumblebee

black, gold

dashing, darting, dancing

harmless fuzzy flower lover

buzzing

So much depends upon

this old rocking chair

it’s tough wooden frame

holds a lifetime of memories

laughter and pain

some, but not all my own

a prized possession given

from one of the strongest women

 I have ever known.

Stacy, what an adorable bumblebee poem! I love the black and gold font and the simple words. Can I use this for my classroom?

Stacy, I love the rocking chair free verse. The picture sets it off real well. It has a poignant feel to it. Well done.
